Our photographer Rich Miller was great!!! We went to holcolmb gardens on Butler's campus it was beautiful! And of course the babies came!

My dress and Mom's dress

My wedding dress and my mom's dress is in!!! They are in Cinci and being shipped here~~lets all say a quick prayer that I fit into it!! Oh God! Hopefully the bridesmaid dresses get here safe and sound~~with 11 maids and 3 different styles things are bound to get crazy. We ended up getting everything from Bridal and Formal in cincinatti~~they were great!!!

Jenny's almost due!!

Our friend's Jon and Jenny Durrett are getting induced this week (Friday) with their baby girl!!! Couldn't be more excited to live down the street from two princesses. Maybe this one will be a mini-jon. Keep them in your prayers!!

Videographer!

So we now have the Videographer also. Brian Sergi with http://sergiproductions.com/ is going to be it! He has done a lot of our friends' weddings and is also a friend of Pat's . He's done alot of fun weddings and has done a great job....so I'm excited!!

Sweets!

We've got the deposit on the cake and flowers too. We're going with Heavenly Sweets Bakery in Noblesville and Kathy's Kloset of Flowers has some beautiful arrangements. We're moving right along! Hopefully the bridesmaid dresses come in smoothly :)

Patty Cakes

Pat's going to Graduate in December WOOHOOO!!! He'll have to take the bar in Feb. after the wedding, so I think we will take our honeymoon after that so we can really celebrate! Maybe I'll have 1 of my 4 boards done by then :)

Bridesmaid dresses

Sooo we went back to the Bridal District this weekend and I brought Kim and Dane and they tried on some bridesmaid dresses. There was a ton of cute ones and I really wanted a designer that had a couple different styles of the same dress. Heres the three I think I'm choosing....

Bridesmaids...

I've been searching lately for bridesmaids dresses online and I love every dress by Jim Hjelm. I definitely think I'll choose this color above and this style along with some other styles for the gals to choose from. I think everyone will have a longer dress and same material, but just different styles. There's a ton of people in our wedding party so there will be some unique styles to see! Let me know what you think!

Engaged update

We've been engaged a year on June 2!! Woohoo! Now just to get the bridesmaids dresses ordered....the photographer booked, rehearsal dinner set, and a band and we'll be done :) riiiiighhht. The doggies are great and the decks almost completed, gloria can still squeeze through some small holes. Also, Big Bertha has aready lost 4.5 lbs. just from running with her new friends in the yard. The puppymill kept her in a tiny cage, they say sometimes the dogs can't even turn around so they just eat all day :( breaks my heart! Hope everyones having a good start to their summer!!!

PS, I got a job!! Start at St. Francis as an ultrasound tech. June 16th ahhh!

It's a miracle!

I actually bought my wedding dress today!!! We went to the Reading Bridal District in Cincinatti and found it in the first dress store I had been in, 3rd dress I tried on and we knew it was the one! The people were really helpful and we found a beautiful dress and a veil~~never thought it would be that easy! Now just to get on with the other planning of this wedding......

And then there were 4!!!

Well we adopted our new baby who we have named Big Bertha, b/c she is a bit on the chunky side. She has been stuck in a cage all her life so has put on some lbs. She is a sweet lil angel, very quiet (since she can't bark), very calm, and loves everyone. Here are some pics of gloria and Big mama bertha! Doggie Rescues

Hi everyone! We are in the process of trying to rescue another lil scotty who has come from a really bad puppy mill. The puppymill owners didn't want the dogs to bark so they shoved pipes down the dogs throats to break the vocal cords :( breaks my heart! We are rescuing one of the lil angels, but I just wanted to put the word out there. The rescue is in Ohio and the shelters website is http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/OH654.html and the owners are very sweet. I am going next weekend to pick up our lil one, but they accept any donations to help out! I guess they really go through alot of bleach, towels, paper towels and need anything that pets can use (blankets, bowls, treats, etc.) So if you have anything around the house or want to make a donation just drop it off at my house or pats house and we'll bring it to the rescue next weekend (the 24)! They will be very thankful!

Flower Girls

Isn't this flower girl dress cute I love the lil rose petals for valentines day!! So far we have 3 flower girls...2 of our best friends kids (Hailey and Ava) they are pretty young still. So we are going to have my cousin Amy who is 7 be in the middle of those two cuties and guide them down that LONG aisle.

Ready for spring!

We can't wait for spring weather!!! Pat's in the process of clearing out the backyard to fence the rest of it in for lil glor. Gloria definitely helped us that day...

Wedding update

Soo we've finally got the contract for Crowne Plaza and Homewood suites and we'll be set tomorrow...finally! It's a good thing we booked everything so soon b/c the knot and every wedding site has valentine's day as a most popular wedding day next year! Now we have to decide which photographer and whether we want a band or dj??? Aren't these the truth :) ....thanks for everyone going out for my bday...I feel officially OLD...but atleast pat's a year older...heres some pics from the lovely night until my boots started hurting and had to take them off.

Lil Gloria now gets to go over to her babysitter's on wednesday and play with 7 other dogs and she loves it!! Wednesday is our long day at the hospital/lawschool so she won't have to be alone for so many hours.

Little Patrick's First Day!!!

Well, today is Pat's first day at his law internship at Barnes & Thornburg. Gloria and I are so proud....So I had to take a picture....can't you just see the excitement written all over his face...hahahaha:)

These are two fun valentines day wedding cakes from the internet...hmmm what do you think?? I dont even like cake haha...maybe we'll have some mcd's or cheese fries too :)

Our lil family

For christmas/my birthday Patrick got me a baby Scottie!! She's 9 months old and doing great. Her name is Gloria and she's a spoiled princess.

Reception

We finally booked a reception site that we both loved Crowne Plaza Hotel downtown Indy. It actually fits a wedding our size and is unique and artsy. There is a huge convention downtown the weekend of our wedding so hotel rooms are really hard to come by at the Crowne Plaza and most the downtown hotels. So far the only hotel open downtown to block rooms for us and the wedding party is Homewood Suites, which is walking distance from Crowne Plaza. As for the rest of our guests we are blocking rooms on the south and northside of Indy also so we will keep you updated.
